The search covers the titles and descriptions for the websites registered in the Fishing Base directory.

Case sensitivity

The search engine is not case sensitive.

Matching words

A matching website must match all words in your query. So all words must be present in either the website title or the website description.

Matching phrases

A phrase is specified by surrounding it with "s, like "salmon fishing". This will not match "Fishing for salmon in the Kotka river" but it will match "trout and salmon fishing in Finland". All phrases must be present in the website title or the website description for a match.

Words and phrases

You can search for combinations of (multiple) words and (multiple) phrases, multiple words or multiple phrases. All words/phrases must be present in the website title or website description for a matching website.

Highlighted search terms

All found search words/phrases are highlighted so it's easier to evaluate the results.
