Galbraith grabs gold for Tubertini Team EnglandTubertini Team England regular Gary Galbraith was crowned England’s first World Boat Fishing champion in nearly 20 years, after his victory in Ireland.As the team took silver, they had two anglers on the podium as Gary was joined by new cap Mark Smith who took the bronze medal for third place.Team skipper Rolf Marschalek said: ‘We had a great result. We’ve never had two individual medals to go with a team medal before. The whole team is buzzing.’
The 51st FIPS(M) World Boat Championships took place last weekend in Bundorran, Donegal, Ireland. After an official practice session the 70 anglers from 14 nations put to sea on nine quality angling boats for three days of competition. The anglers enjoyed some great sort at this top notch venue.... ...o take the silver medal.Well done to all the anglers who competed in an extremely tight competition where they worked hard to produce individual bags of over 200 fish for the three days in some cases.
